It’s episode 74 and it’s a sibling special! Phil (Time Out Film) and Nick (Empire Magazine) de Semlyen join us for Phil’s choice the 2010 David Fincher film The Social Network.

If you’ve never heard of The Social Network you’ll definitely know Facebook, this is the (elaborated) true story of The Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and the lawsuits that followed. Whilst the premise is interesting but not exciting the fun and sharpness is from the Aaron Sorkin (Oscar winning) screenplay and career making performances from Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake and Rooney Mara. Also features a fantastic Trent Reznor soundtrack.

Scores

The Social Network scores high 4s across the recommendability but loses points on repeat viewing coming in overall at 3.92, recommended!
