In this episode (#29) Sam and Simon from The Picturehouse Podcast will be talking about the film “The Edge” starring Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin, Elle MacPherson, Harold Perrineau and, of course, Bart The Bear.
This film can be seen to be a pallet cleanser from the multi-award-winning film The Revenant. While it is not as well revered as The Revenant it seems to have a very strong following amongst those that have seen it, with many people claiming that it is this their favourite film!
The Edge tells the story of multi-billionaire Charles (mentioned over 140 times) and his companions as they fight to survive after suffering a plane crash. The survival is ended as they soon find out that they are being tracked by a kodiak bear who soon kills one of the party leaving two of the team in the wilderness.
