Dr. Andrew Johnstone and Jason Heat from Seemingly Unrelated podcast return to Flixwatcher to review Andrew’s choice Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You.

Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You (2020) is a Netflix documentary that follows the Grammy-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter around the globe on her sold out 2019 Sweetener World Tour.

To be filed under one for the fans only. There is very little insightful footage to be found here in the 1 hour 37 minutes. It does feature 25 songs performed by Ariana Grande so if that is something you’d like to watch then this is for you.

There are music films (Rocketman) and documentaries (Amy) that transcend genres and interest to reach a wide audience, this is not one of them.

Unsurprisingly the recommendability scores were very low, there was nothing compelling enough to engage non fans and the overall score is 1.82.
