It’s the big 4 O! Episode 40! Kobi and Helen are joined by returning guests Samantha from Conversations with Samantha & and Mark from The Uncoventionalists.
We’re reviewing Marks choice Cowspiracy – a 2014 documentary that looks specifically at the effects of cattle farming and meat consumption on climate change and the environment.
One of the documentary’s strengths is that it doesn’t go down the path of shocking viewers with the gory and (often) inhumane fate of animals – it’s not a militant vegan rant! This isn’t a guilt trip, it’s a fact-finding mission.
As a documentary, Kip is no Michael Moore and it stands out as being low budget/crowdfunded, however the information and questions open up discussion and call for change.
